Seriously a must do if you visit Auckland the staff made our night such a great experience, The Wine list is incredible and the desserts to die for. Jeremy and his team made us feel like we were total VIP's in a full restaurant...next time we are back in NZ it will be our first dinner stop in Auckland (Cibo - May, 2010)

The food was amazing, i went there for lunch and ended up making a booking for dinner that night! The duck for lunch was tender and light. For dinner the eye was cooked to perfection. The staff are friendly and on to it. Who ever made our drinks deserves a medal-the best mohito in Auckland yet! (April, 2008)

I was a bit surprised when my spiced kingfish entree arrived raw and unmarinated. Maybe I should have been warned but it was so delicious that I don't think I'll bother cooking kingfish any more. Everything else was just as good. Service was friendly and just right, decor excellent, mood sounds and music were ideal. A great night out.
Warning to newcomers. The only "Cibo" sign is illegible from the street. (Tony - April, 2008)

Everything combined to make this a stunning evening for our group of eight people. We sat at a delightful round table outside under a large awning. With its high ceiling and outdoor flow there is a real feeling of spaciousness even when busy. The food was the highlight -absolutely wonderful. (December, 2007)

I had high expectations of Cibo and was disappointed. I thought our waiter for the evening was unfriendly in the way he explained the specials and answered our questions. For my main I ordered the Tuna which I asked the waiter if it is served 'seared'. He confirmed it was. When it arrived, it was over cooked and virtually inedible. The dessert was also disappointing which was sticky date pudding and no more special than what you can buy at your local supermarket bakery. For the price you pay, you expect the meal to be perfect. Overall disappointing experience. It promised a lot, but didn’t deliver. (See my reviews (2)
