"If memory serves me well, this beautiful colonial house on busy Jervois Road used to be the Fawlty Towers restaurant. Our waiter was very nice and trying hard."

"It seems that Thai in this town is mostly relegated to a cheap and relatively inoffensive takeaway option. Sigh. Still, as local restaurants go, Erawan Thai serves the Jervois Rd community well. Housed in a sprawling villa with the requisite photographs of the Thai monarch and tinkling music, Erawan serves food that is a notch above the usual, too-sweet Thai offerings. Our judges recommend the Oyster Omelette and the ultra-garlicky prawn salad..."
