Food was amazing, girl making coffee took her time and made it after talking on the phone and talking to some of the staff members. ( It was on her own time) . I Gave the place another chance and popped in for a takeaway coffee same thing happened! after waiting ten minutes i left with out a refund and no coffee!   (ha! - May, 2008)

The lunch experience was bad from a food quality perspective. The chicken panini was too bready, with dry chicken. My partner had bacon and eggs with hash browns which were very overcooked and cold. Service was okay. Would not recommend.   (Heather - See my reviews (4) - April, 2008)

My partner and I had a terrible experience with Ernesto. We were not even acknowledged for around about 10 minutes although there were plenty of staff members available (chatting with one another). While waiting for service I poured two glasses of water for our table using the glasses available as it was self service. Finally when we were approached to take our orders the staff member told us “No one likes to drink from those glasses” and poured us two fresh glasses of horrible tasting water. Frustrated with the level of service we left. I would not suggest Ernesto to anyone who appreciates good service   (Poor service - March, 2008)

Really great night out, friendly service, the mushroom tart entree is awesome, as is the pumpkin feta salad, fab live jazzy music (though maybe just a little too loud at times) warm and inviting decor and ambience, I would definitely go back.
