We went as a large group for a team Xmas dinner. The mains were all good. The service and surroundings excellent

but the sorbet which was the chefs special was dreadful and wasnt eaten. Tasted too strong and not like it was made with juices but with cordial syrup. The Tiramisu was also found lacking by the people in our group who ordered it and the chef admitted he had substituted Grappa for his usual Marsala which he had run out of.No excuse really with a wine shop up the road!   (Maureen - December, 2008)
