A group of 10 of us from work dined there on the 30/01/09 and after hearing all the hype about the place were very excited to dine there. Boy were we wrong. They wouldn't seat us until all 10 of us were there and advised us to wait in the bar area. After much annoyance we were finally seated. The reserved room was crammed and smelt somewhat of toilet. Only one half of group received their Appetizers after 15minutes there was a further 10-minute wait before the rest of the group got theirs. The mains took even longer to come and some of the group got the mains before the Appetizers. Whilst eating the mains a young lady kept coming to the table shelving rice on people's plate, despite not being asked to. There was no toilet paper in the private female bathroom and when we requested for some none was brought. For the size and the quality the Appetizers are grossly over prized. The spring rolls in the Poh Pia Mai Thai can be bought and any good supermarket for half the price and at least with those you get more then 3 and it isn't served with watery sweet chilli sauce. As for the dessert they were a waste of time and money the Up the hill $ 8.50 which actually cost $9.50 was poorly made and displayed. At the end of the horrible experience we were meet with a bill that was over priced but $22.50. When we enquired as to this additional cost we were rudely told it was for the rice. Which was supposed to be for 11 bowls of rice despite only 4 bowls being served. Don't be fooled by the hype people the place is not worth the money.   (Sugar - February, 2009)
