The restaurant offers food, drinks, entertainment and atmosphere - something for everybody to enjoy and a place where people can just be themselves. It is a unique ambience that stimulates all the senses and transports you to another world. Of course our customers also contribute to the atmosphere at the Mex and no two nights are ever the same. Upbeat or laid back, it's what you make of it.

      I thought they were amazing. The cocktails are to die for and they have a great selection of food. The atomosphere was great with a nice set up and is in a great location. They made my birthday very special when I went and are very kind to customers.   (May, 2008)

      the food was really cheap which was good. Was really busy being a saturday night, however we were not really taken care of by staff the way we would have liked to have been. we were a table of 10 and i expected that a bit more of a fuss be made of us. Amazing atmosphere, a really vibrant restaurant. The place could promise big groups an awesome night out if staff were more attentive   (See my reviews (14) - June, 2007)

  • Large Groups Information

    As the Mexican Café can seat up to 100 people at one time, we only take dinner reservations for groups of min 10 and max of 45 people.If you are a group of less than 10, just come up and we will look after you. We also take reservations for lunch Thursday through to Sunday.

    Individual accounts will not be issued for groups…one account per table.

    Cheques only accepted by prior arrangement with suitable identification.

    If you want to make a reservation on Thursday, Friday or Saturday, we advise you to book at least 2 weeks in advance.
