I was a little bit disappointed that there was not traditional food like after dinner mints and mince pies to have with coffee. And an absence of traditional vegetables like minted peas. But the way some of the food like the turkey was presented was a bit unusal. On the up side the salads were lovely as was the hot ham. Some of the staff seemed a little inexperienced to work such a busy day - although we could not fault their manners, their inexperience was quite obvious. However on the whole our meal was nice and the atmosphere pleasant - the tables were not to close together and food was nicely presented. Kind regards. Jennie Wilkins (December, 2007) |
